Origin of Earth

Do you know ,how the origin of Earth on which we live took place?
Perhaps not incorrect, however it seems awkward. You could say:
The Earth on which we live; do you know its origin?
However if you want to emphasize the majesty or awe inspired in considering the origin, you could use "this". For example:
Do you know the origin of this Earth on which we live?
I am sure others can provide further insight.

Deaths in France vs deaths in Nigeria
Monday, January 19, 2015 7:16:51 PM
People (i.e., Western society) better wake up! Nigeria is the largest country in Africa with one of the largest populations of youth in the world. As to religion it is roughly a 50/50 split between Islam and Christians. As a former British protectorate Christian missions and educational systems were established, mostly in the geographic South. Therefore, In my opinion, the Western world owes Nigeria support in its fight against radical Islam. Anything less makes a mockery of Christianity and leaves the substantial youth population open to radicalism. A threat to civilized men and women in Africa and beyond.
