Topic: sounds of letters
Posted: Monday, August 19, 2013 2:37:53 AM

Is it okay to say, "What is the sound of letter 'A'?" though letters don't produce sounds?

I'm sorry. This is confusing for me.

Thank you for your responses. I have another question. Is it necessary to put a period(.) after it?

Is "None noted." a sentence? why or why not? I don't see a linking verb,so I thought it isn't. Our company insists though that it should be the correct format if no errors were noted in class. I just want to be enlightened. Thanks Pray

Take me home. (idiom- a place of security and love)
Take me to home. (directed towards a place you consider home)

Please clarify:

I have always believed that the sentence " He answered the exercises fine." is correct.
I have recieved QA hits because of this though. I didn't want to ask them right away though because they have the tendency of feeling QUESTIONED about their position. Please help me clear my mind. I want to teach well. Thank you.

Mr. ______ is a courier boy from ________ our ____Consultant for our various sites. He has to come frequently to our office to deliver most of our urgent electrical papers to Mr. ____ and Mr. _____. To overcome the tedious process of giving his identity every time he comes to our office, he has requested to be issued a monthly pass to resolve his inconvenience.

I believe this is briefly said, too. ^_^
