hello everyone,

This sentence "It helps ........... our planet."

( ) save
( ) saving

I don't know where to search for the right answer. Can you guys help me?

The answer is 'saving'
The rule: VERBS + GERUND ==> If verb + verb, the second verb must has 'ing'
so, help is a verb....save is also a verb....so the 2nd verb (which is 'save') must has 'ing'.
How is it sounds?? Anyone disagree??
