I felt some criticism in your post

I assure you that none was implied.

It's simply that, when confronted with figures such as those give below, I can do nothing to explain the thought processes of such people except think that an awful lot of people are incredibly stupid.

Talking to such people gets us nowhere. Talking about them doesn't help anyone much

40% of Americans believe that God created humans in their present form within the last 10,000 years. https://news.gallup.com/poll/261680/americans-believe-creationism.aspx

32% believe that President Joe Biden only won the 2020 election due to voter fraud. https://edition.cnn.com/2021/06/21/politics/biden-voter-fraud-big-lie-monmouth-poll/index.html

17% believe group of Satan-worshipping elites who run a child sex ring are trying to control our politics and media.

8% don't believe that humans landed on the moon in the late 60s and 70s.

And, just for fun:

Probably over 1% (that's 33 million people) believe the earth is flat

ps. I chose figures on Americans because such figures were easy to find. If I had the time, I could find similarly alarming figures on crazy beliefs in many countries.

Either 3.3 million or 10%.

673 cases were reported on Saturday, 21.8.
503 cases were reported on Sunday, 22.8.
371 cases were reported on Monday, 23.8.
644 cases were reported on Tuesday 24.8.
574 cases were reported on Wednesday 25.8.
Tested samples in total approx. 6,411,200 (+155,100)
Cumulative number of deaths associated with the disease: 1018 (+10*)
Number of patients in specialised medical care wards: 56 (-9*)
Number of patients in primary healthcare wards: 21 (+9*)
Number of patients in intensive care: 22 (-7*)

Over seventy percent of people have been vaccined twice, nearly fifty once. We use masks, wash our hands, and there are regulations, especially in Helsinki area. We are a country with less than six million people. We look in horror how many are dying in neighbouring countries.

The pandemia is not over, yet.

Yes. It is not over yet. Unfortunately it's here to stay for an unforeseeable time. We have to cope with it.

EU officials concluded that, following a three-year investigation, there was no evidence to prove the previously undisputed fact.
Producers of bottled water are now forbidden by law from making the claim and will face a two-year jail sentence if they defy the edict, which comes into force in the UK next month.

This bowl is the best source of your water intake for the entire day. You might need two other glasses. One in the morning and the second before going to bed. This is what I do.

This is an advice for individuals without preconditions.

And what was the purpose?

What was the purpose? Childish/gangster/warmonger like US policy as elsewhere in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, and Yemen. You name it. Saudis playing their dirty game too. Certainly with the help of Mossad.

If the separatists did shut down the MH 17 what the gain would have been out of taking those innocent lives in the first place? Come on?! One got to be naïve to buy that pie.
By the way Mossad is trying to destabilize life in Europe too with idiots blowing themselves up. France has been facing a tough stance as they DO NOT agree to join the US/Israeli anti-Assad crusade. They will fail.

When Her Majesty decides to go to war against Uruguay for using Zika vaccine not approved by FDA, She does not have to get permission from Congress and Senate. She can go it alone and there would not be blame to Boris. Dancing

Or is it too late to change their nominee?

No. Let them both be. Those who voted in convetions, deserve either of them as a president. Even if they ( Clinton and Trump) step down, there is no hope of any change in the future. Things getting from bad to worse.

La Linea, there were international reactions in 2013 and 2014 but I am not sure exactly what your time frame is.

Yes Hope. My time frame is that of the "Ukraine Golpe", February 2014.

There were international reactions (no condemnation) but without any isolation of installed fascist regime in Kiev even for a short period of time and not even from a single country like used to happen in the past. I think this is not the topic to discuss who was behind it.

President Obama spoke in favour of DEMOCRACY, not erdogan.
Any problems with that?

And the politicians you seem to favour are exactly those who were responsible for the Iraq disaster.

Everybody yesterday spoke in favor of democracy. No matter staged or real. Even the main Turkish opposition party sided to R.T.E and condemned the attempted coup.

However, when the democratically elected government of Ukraine was overthrown by a armed street mob (not armed forces) it was OK.

Double standard democracy.
