In Poland most popular is English keyboard (QWERTY) and to make diacritics is used programmed settings (in operating system). To set Polish keyboard in Windows Vista you should click on Control Panel and thenRegional and Language Options. I suggest Polish (programmer) keyboard. To make diacritic in that setting, you press left alt and letter with diacritic you want, e.g. for ó is Left Alt+o, for ć is Left Alt+c. Exception is ź - to make it you press Left Alt+x.

Numerals in Polish are declensional, so for "seven kilo's" it's "siedem kilo", and for "about seven kilo's" - "około siedmiu kilo".
