Can anyone explain or give me a link of a site explaining the use of ever?. We ask "Have you ever done it?" and answer "I've never done it." but not "I have ever done it." I know when to use it but I want to be able to explain it more thoroughly and find a good reference. Thanks in advance! :)

the best I can/could vs. in the best way I can/could

'loved you the best I could' or 'loved you in the best way I could'?

Is 'did the best I could' correct? What about 'did it in the best I could'?

Can someone please explain the usage of the two phrases? What's the difference..?

Thanks a looooot!
