Topic: I forget to put it away.
Posted: Thursday, January 2, 2020 11:51:14 PM
Each time my son leaves the umbrella laying on the floor, I forget to put it away until I've tripped over it.
Time and again when I wash my coffee mug, I forget to put it away in the cupboard.

To say "It didn't fold up right." is not proper usage. Right denotes either a direction or right and wrong. The use of right in your example is most often used during informal conversations, but it remains incorrect. Better usage would be, "It didn't fold up properly." or "It didn't fold up well."
