Thank you thar, that was very interesting and clearing.
No, the message wasn't sent by ITians, but the power of clumsiness extends way beyond a single profession ;)
Anyway, I don't think I'll get used to this be+to-infinitve-thingy, it sounds just as if you forgot a real verb there..."must" & "suppose" (will) sound so much better in your quotes.

Good day everyone,

recently, I came across an odd email.
It read "On behalf of ... I'm to inform you that the same problem as yesterday has recurred.".

1. Isn't there something missing after "I'm"? Something like glad, assigned, sorry,...? Last time I remember "be" is an auxiliary verb here.
2. Is "recurred" really suitable here? For cancer sure, but for a technical issue there has to be a better word...
