Topic: Is a comma after "wife" necessary?
Posted: Saturday, July 13, 2019 1:04:42 PM
From the OP there is no background information and there is no source given for this posting. Or even that it was an actual casus. Googling the story does show that it’s a very controversial issue in France.

In any case, there were in total 6 brothers and sisters (siblings) who supported ‘the right to die’. Not 8 siblings or even 7 siblings. But 6 siblings in total supporting this tragic decision. Adding ‘other’ doesn’t change ‘6’ into any other number. Six is 6.

Having 8 siblings one could assume that there are also many nephews. Only one is mentioned. Are there ‘other' nephews/nieces who have an ‘opinion'?
But it just doesn't really matter.
At the end of the day a person is dead.
A family divided.

It's called 'gerrymandering'...

The voice of the majority is ignored.

Is "while moving from place to place" like "while they are moving from place to place"?

Hello Tara2,

I’m not sure what you mean with ‘they'. Is that the ‘mobile users' or 'the resources’?

‘Relocation transparency = hide that a resource may be moved to another location while in use’

A fuller text is:

…Distributed systems in which resources can be moved without affecting how those resources can be accessed are said to provide migration transparency.Even stronger is the situation in which resources can be relocated while they are being accessed without the user or application noticing anything. In such cases, the system is said to support relocation transparency. An example of relocation transparency is when mobile users can continue to use their wireless laptops while moving from place to place without ever being (temporarily) disconnected.

Great day for the Raptor basketballers!

Any sports fan can understand Hope123's enthusiasm.

Good to know that the Canadian ‘she-god' is allochtone-friendly. No walls in Canada.

Not a Canadian in the team...except Boucher who was born in Saint Lucia

How is this possible since their postings give entirely opposite observations. Weird.

In the lead-up to the USA presidential election, we usually see several television 'debates' between the Democratic and the Republican candidates.

If Trump is the Republican candidate don't expect him to follow this 'tradition'.

He will not participate in the 2020 debates. He doesn't share the limelight with 'losers'.

And there are the constant stream of bold-faced lies emanating from Pennsylvania Avenue.

bold-faced lie
A blatantly obvious and/or impudent untruth, one in which the liar does not attempt to disguise their mendacity.

aka. bald-faced lies or barefaced lie or just the new(?) norm.
