Perhaps I have become accustomed to such frequent repetition of certain thoroughly important and necessary practices, in my past, that the inculcation has made me regard 'making it a point to do something' as an almost involuntary act.

From the nature of these ad hominem attacks it's readily apparent that nobody has ever successfully taught Empty Seas anything, least of all civility.
