...Nice sentiment, but be careful to observe the local mores when travelling away from home. Commenting on Kim Jong-un's dress sense might keep your soul flickering for a few seconds but that's about all.

Great quote! Not sure about you fine folks from elsewhere, but technology, the media, a desire for instant gratification and a few other factors have contributed to a greatly diminished capacity for the fine art of critical thinking here in America - at least for many.

It's easier to let others tell you what to think, to be popular and generally liked than it is to discern for yourself what is right and take a stand for it.
