Palestinian guerrilla attacks on Israel from bases in Syria led to increased hostility between the two countries. After Egypt signed a defense treaty with Jordan, Israel launched a preemptive air strike against the three Arab states, capturing the Sinai Peninsula, Gaza Strip, West Bank, Old City of Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights. Was the deliberate attack on US ship USS Liberty by Israeli Air Force jet fighter aircraft and motor torpedo boats, on 8 June 1967 during the same war killing 34 and severely wounding 171 american sailors, also part of the biblically mandated butchery that u called prophecies?

Anyone who is sick of mideast should at least read one book abt the conflict i.e, John Quigley's "Palestine and Israel: A Challenge to Justice" or US president Jimmy Carter's best seller "Palestine: Peace not Apartheid"

When the spanish Inquisition kicked the shit out of the Jews it was the Arabs and Ottomans who received, honoured and settled their cousins, jews, the people of the book in different cities of the empire.

Many thoughtful people, including some Israelis, warned the Israeli government NOT to annex the West Bank after the 1967 war.

Many Israelis now realize that it was, indeed, a very unwise decision.

It has caused nothing but headaches for Israel. The West Bank should have been left in the hands of Jordan.
