Those journalists, writers,... should have received the Prize and other Award nominations.

Ha ha ha, it’s funny.
For sure awards are given for popularity. All types of awards, whether it’s in the form of an object or a title. It’s for a person’s or for a group’s achievement in their activity.
Talking about corruptions, who is not? You, me and every one of us are corrupted in some way.
So, are you saying that this person did not do any good journalism and won an award?
You see it’s just like when someone wins the title and the price for the fastest man in the world. He is not actually the fastest man in the world but he is the only participant who took part in that trial who won.
The same here, we can’t give an award to every journalist in the world who we think deserve it and there will always be someone who is left out.
The winner is chosen from a list of participant presented by others (under many set of rules to be eligible) for that category and there are much more regulations to this. It’s not as simple as supporting a corrupted organization or a country. The whole world is taking part in this event so…..corruption………
Let’s celebrate this human life’s achievement and be happy there is something to celebrate.
