Nonsuicidal self harm or injury is any intentional, self-directed behavior that causes destruction of body tissues but is not lethal per se. This behavior is manifested in a variety of forms, such as cutting, burning, severe abrading/scratching, and punching/hitting. Self-injury may include more rarely, auto-amputation or stabbing oneself.

Quote:In November 1996, the German magazine Der Spiegel reported an attempt to match genetically a blood sample from underpants assumed to have been Kaspar Hauser's. Underpants thought to be Hauser's were kept for 163 years after he died? I hope my family don't keep my old knickers for posterity after I'm gone!
