Mark Twain said it best (I'm paraphrasing): It's OK to go to college, as long as you don't let it get in the way of your education.

Life's university is the only university you can choose your own teacher. You may gratuate well and with some honors if you live your life the best way you live.

Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888) The awareness ofruh of our wish ... none knows better than yourself - has been fixed long ago. If only we could always be together like this! 'Always,' I say! Yet in a world so fragile even 'tomorrow' were a pledge that mocked the sanctity of love!

Life is my college. May I graduate well, and earn some honors! Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888) ... yes, my main college is my life, and I do it under my terms choosing the areas that really matter and have profound meaning for the world I live in and for me personally!!! My honors will come from the spheres that matter, and my graduation is not going to be a static paper, but a series of events leading to the better, more honest, more beautiful social interaction cleansed of the addict lies/corruption...

I hear your plea! I'm pleased that you are learning that there are people on the Forum who you cannot bully. If you refrained from responding then so would I. All I ask is that you express your opinions as opinions and only present as facts those that are supported by evidence.

Nisar Akhtar wrote:College life is good but it's fee is high. I totally agree...its a tough life we live. We meet so many things along the way and have to make some life changing/challenging decisions. And we don't even know sometimes if the decision will result in a good outcome or another problem that we have to just live with in the end because it was a choice we made for ourselves. I guess when we get to the end of it we breathe a sigh of relief at this long journey that we are on now.

Well put! Wise woman! And a remarkable novelist (Little Women)!! It was a really good book. A little bit long, but the story marvelous as we studies each and every one of the six or is it seven sisters as they grew into women, forged careers in art and literature, and found their mates. T'was a good book.

johnfl wrote:COLLEGE ISN`T GOOD FOR EVERYONE SUCH IS LIFE. No, I can't help it but have to disagree with you. 😊 Just like college or any form of school, life transforms us for the best. Testing us and forcing us to take up challenges we would not have taken otherwise. Revealing our strengths and weaknesses as well as highlighting areas we need to polish up on. Now how can that be bad for anyone??? Would you rather be sat in a closet or in the dark not knowing. Not knowing what you look like or who you really are... We all say if this happens to me I will react like this but will you react as you said when put to the test??? Think about it 😊

Where can you go to avoid the trolls??? Judging by some of the mud-slinging here, on a forum which should be dedicated to more edifying and open-minded exchanges, I would say that some will not be graduating with honors today.
