Paparazzi-Proof Clothes Foil Photogs

Betabrand, a US clothing company that specializes in inventive fashion, has created clothing that makes the wearer invisible in flash photographs—a potential boon for thwarting the paparazzi. When a camera flash goes off, the glass reflects it, interfering with the exposure and capturing only the wearer's silhouette. A tailored suit from the Flashback collection retails for about $520. We live in a depressing, consumer driven society.

I think it is way cool. Here in the US there are a lot of us (mePray ) who consider our privacy to be a guaranteed right. There is something Orwellian about knowing there are cameras everywhere. But then on the other hand, I see the need for security cameras, I do. On the other hand, cameras can be fooled and their purpose thwarted. Which leaves me the feeling that to give up my privacy and freedoms isn't worth the illusion of security. $500 and change isn't too much.

This is beyond clever; it is wonderful. A woman can simply wear a nice scarf around her neck and not worry about some weirdo snapping pictures.
