Jyrkka, its such an interesting topic u have opened today !!! kudos

The Golden ratio (1.61803399) and Fibonacci series... one can observe these any where and every where in nature ... Arrangement of petals in flowers, arrangement of veins in leaves, the Vitruvian man, Ratio of bone lengths in human body etc...

You know,

Everytime I hear myself accidentally crushing a snail, I turn to back and tell it that I am sorry.

It does not help him, I know, but it makes me feel lighter.

I agree, I also pass snails moving across the pavement, when I walk by or ride a bike.
