Easier said! I have tried to go on with life using words of wisdom - I can only read them from wisdom books but inspiration is only short-lived. Only human!

Wisdom is a lot more than just "using words of wisdom".

If happiness is an absence of unhappiness, and pleasure is an absence of pain, suffering and disillusionment - Yes. Anyway, be happy all the way through! Let's start with now, with what we have...

Happiness is not quite the same as contentment or wellbeing. Happiness is more of a fleeting feeling, just the mood of the moment, which is not dependant on wisdom. Contentment depends more on wisdom than happiness does. Maybe it's just the translation? You can be wildly happy in a moment of dissolution, but its unwise. Working hard to ensure future stability causes momentary unhappiness, yet is a wise course of action to take.

Sophocles would be one frustrated guy if he were alive today.

Orwellian Crimestop is the rule. Seekers of wisdom are the exceptions that prove the rule.

It is trivial to prove that the basis of the debt based monetary system IMPOSED upon us (you don't get to vote for that, chumps, because that is what REALLY acts as the POWER generator within society) is a prima facie fraud, but not one in 1,000 will make the limited effort to comprehend this reality and take positive action.

But many fight, tooth and nail, to irrationally attack the messenger.

It is trivial to prove that the official narrative of 911 is completely fabricated and that NIST dry labbed data in a criminal investigation (itself a felony) in order to try and hide the 80-100 feet of even free-fall acceleration of building 7.

That free fall (a cross section of WTC7 about 80-100 feet tall disappeared in the twinkle of an eye and offered effectively zero resistance to the upper section of the building and, miraculously again, when the building met resistance again, it met consistent resistance across the plane of impact such that it kept falling evenly) coupled with the fact the top section of one of the tall WTC buildings never hit the bottom section of the building is proof beyond all doubt that the official fable is just that - and it doesn't matter how many times Debt Money Monopoly financed hacks in government repeat it.

Now, the "wise" would investigate this to debunk the real issues, not the fringe issues that are selected due to their ease of debunking. In addition, it is dishonest to use staged fake experiments to mislead people - something that the establishment has down to a science.

[Note how the media lies to their credulous and gullible audience by rigging experiments that won't work and then refusing to correct their "mistake" (yeah, right!) when proven wrong.

The beauty of these presentations is you can rely on yourself to figure out what happened - not some fancy guy in a suit financed to serve someone else's profit maximizing agenda (legal corporate new mandate per corporate law).

But most people won't. Timid souls, as Jack Nicholson said in one of his roles, "can't hand the truth."

So, as Sigmund Freud observed, they lie to themselves... wisdom be d*mned.

“Illusions commend themselves to us because they save us pain and allow us to enjoy pleasure instead. We must therefore accept it without complaint when they sometimes collide with a bit of reality against which they are dashed to pieces” —~Sigmund Freud

Now, this might not be so bad except that Edward Bernays understood the desire to lie to oneself and created modern day propaganda engineered to make the self deception as convenient as possible.

As Freud said, if you choose illusion over cold, hard reality then you have no grounds to complain when reality beats you to a pulp.

Like Patrick Henry, I choose to seek the truth and prepare for it and respect others enough to try and get that truth out to others at unknown cost to myself. Unfortunately, the old adage that no good deed goes unpunished is mostly accurate in this case. Rather than deal with reality, people tend to shoot the messenger.

I highlight this because I know the end of this kind of blatant, in your face establishment behavior over a eek kneed populace is anything but good for the common person.

The quote in context
From the play Antigone by Sophocles - (1. lines 1344-1353)
Creon's words,to Creon, life is but the happiness one makes, the happiness that inheres in a grasped tool, a garden bench, a child playing at one's feet.

"Our happiness depends/ on wisdom all the way. / The gods must have their due. / Great words by men of pride/ bring greater blows upon them. / So wisdom comes to the old."

Without wisdom happiness seems in constant need to be searched for, hunted down, tricked into revealing itself... a tiresome useless exercise
with opposite results of hiding it forever more, all the way to unhappiness.

"Our happiness depends on wisdom all the way." Ok
However, being aware of the corruption in my country (Brazil) we really need wisdom to achieve a good life.
The prices are higher.
We are experiencing a lack of guidance in all aspects: in our economy, health care, education...
We need wisdom to survive here.
