Egyptian Mummification Dates Back 6,000 Years

Mummification is an indisputably ancient practice, but new evidence suggests it emerged even earlier than experts previously thought. Funerary textiles from Egypt's oldest-known cemeteries contain remnants of embalming substances, proof that mummification was being practiced as early as 4300 BCE, more than 1,500 years earlier than previously believed. Have any of you ever wondered how some people can except the idea that our world was created only 6000 years ago, and yet scientists are constantly making major discoveries regarding the age of our earth, of man and of other living things. Sadly many of those that profess those beliefs' (it all began only 6000 years ago) are determined to put into our public schools, in America, this extremely narrow and tragic belief system. It would seem that with this topic 'above'(evidence of early embalming) is an apropos area to make my comment. Peace to all

Yes, I never want to be mummified; however I guess its better than smelling like a corpse.
