A few days ago the police stopped a car on a German motorway close to my hometown. Nothing sensational, I agree. However, the car had a Swedish registration and was driven by a young Turk with Austrian citizenship. His driving licence was Lithuanian and had cost him € 1,200, although the police consider it a fake.
Oh, I almost forgot. The car was Japanese.

So Germany is fast becoming an international melting-pot such as Canada and the US?

That pretty nearly defines foreign intrigue.
I was surprised not too long ago when I was passed on the A5 by a full size Dodge Ram pickup truck (with German license plates).

But certainly not to the same extent as Canada or the US. zielonosiwy wrote Quote:Yeah but when guys like Kevin Kurányi score for Germany, it's just fine That's a good example. We have players with Ghanese, Turkish, Polish or Tunisian background in that team, to name but some. early apex wrote Quote:I was surprised not too long ago when I was passed on the A5 by a full size Dodge Ram pickup truck (with German license plates). Like most gadgets or whatever coming up in the USA, even those SUVs and pickup trucks find many enthusiasts over here, too, although there is hardly any place, where these are really necessary in our country. Blame Hollywood and all those American TV series and soaps.

Interesting situation indeed IMcrout of course this only can happen in Europe.I don't want it seem like I'm highjacking your thread but this reminds of a joke,it's based on stereotypes-
The happiest man alive is married to a Chinese woman, eats Japanese food, makes a USA salary, and lives in a British house. The unhappiest man alive is married to USA woman, eats British food, makes a Chinese salary, and lives in a Japanese house.
