Only results of bad or good advice might tell the difference... Anyway, be careful with dispensation of advices cause people might be not so generous as Sophocles.

Bully rus is right, the problems only come when someone follows bad advice. The giving of unsought for advice is always dangerous.

Who knows an advise is good or bad, unless one tried. If one is so clear about an advise, he/she who needs no advise.

No enemy is worse than one who offers bad advice! And no one is more foolhardy than one who accepts anyone's advice at face value. (Advice, even if well-meant is only as good as the opinion of the one giving it. And it is only just that: someone's OPINION!)

I would say that no enemy is worse than a false friend.

"Love Thy Enemy"

"The best way to control the opposition is to finance it. Birds of prey have two wings; the left wing & right wing."

That as token of all peace, this flower you should invoke ... I waited till the blossom hung lower than the pine-boughs of the Trivium Palace, then at last I humbled my pride.

Advices may be misleading and utterly damaging since the one who receives them believe at first they are trustworthy, which in turn may prove otherwise. Logical :D

I agree.

Anyway, who would rely on just one advice in a matter? Tougher is, when you rely on a person as a whole, because that person, as being a sum of good experiences to you, is so much more deceptive when he or she betrays you.
But life is full of risks. Taking a risk sometimes, is your breath of life.

That's really good..,
where did you get that?

And so people will need to look for a remedy for the lack of advice.
Most services personnel can't offer much out of role constraints.

Most of the time, one cannot know if an advice is bad as one cannot know if a person is an enemy, without trying. Therefore, most of the people that give us bad advices are probably our enemies.

Non fatal debilitating disease comes to mind as an enemy far worse than bad advice.

Unless the bad advice is what one wanted to hear, in which case one is one's worst enemy.
