It depends on how it is used within a sentence. Misspeak is sometimes a noun.

According to THD misspeak is a verb. I do not see any evidence it is sometimes a noun.

Sorry also, it was a misstatement (noun) because I have a st-t-tuter which causes me to misspeak. Is a stutter a misspeak? Much ado about elocution if I can't decide if misspeak is a verb or noun. It probably is a verb.

TOUCHE. Like I tried to convey to our French member. It all depends on how it is used. As is: I have a close friend that has an unusual tick of saying the word "misspeak" over and over. "Misspeak! misspeak! misspeak!" she screams out after every other word she utters. It is an annoying affectation to say the least. Me thinks "misspeak" could be a subject noun despite what TFD quips!-Jim
