Today in the United States of America, there are no more martinets in the classrooms of big-city schools.

The students (and their parents) rule.

The current federal government has told all schools: If a student is defiant, you canNOT suspend him (that is, send him home for a few days). You must remember, the schools have been told, that a defiant student is basically a sweet little darling who has been mistreated by society. If you suspend him, that is absolute, horrific DISCRIMINATION!
