You don't have to be cool clever to rule my world. Good boss (manager) don't have to be the smartest person in the world or room that's completely unnecessary.

I am not sure who is being rebuked by Mrs. Hauksbee, Mrs. Cusack-Bremil, as being silliest woman or Mr. Cusack-Bremil as being a fool because Mrs. Bremil took her date away or Mr. Bremil for leaving her (Mrs. Hauksbee) when he came with her.

A fool by nature is unmanageable both by man and woman as well.

Bully rus, are you quoting Prince from his song Kiss:
You don't have to be cool to rule my world/
Ain't no particular sign I'm more compatible with
I just want your extra time and your
Kiss.

As for Kipling, I wasn't aware that men thought they need to be managed.

Good one, Marguerite.

I think that in the case of an intelligent man or women, being with a fool would be easy.
It would certainly sooth the physical necessity of a man or women to be with someone.
Think about today's word: "somatic," like in "a somatic relationship", right?
There would be someone to touch, to talk to, to accompany somewhere, but if you come to think about is it really what one needs?

A very clever woman does have better things to do, instead of trying to manage a fool.

In relationship there's no such word "to manage" but compatible couple that tries to adjust what is worth being together and growing together holistically!!!
