Hello teachers,
Which one is more natural?
a) She wasn't in Paris one month ago.
b) She wasn't in Paris a month ago.

Thanks.

Grammatically speaking, both sentences are correct.
Without a proper context, however, either of them sounds empty or hollow and very unnatural to me.

Hello IMcRout,
Thank you for your reply.
We have to write the tenses that are in bold, according to the context.
The whole context:
She (be) wasn't in Paris one month ago, and she (be) hasn't been in Paris this month yet.

Version b. "a month ago" is more common.

Hi David

Yes, 'a month' is more common.

One would normally say 'one month' only if you were specifying that it was only one, not two or three.

When was she in Paris?
It was a month ago.

or
I know she was in Paris one month ago, but I'm not sure if she was already there two months ago.
