The lack of such a link explains probably that these forums have got such a little amount of participants...

There are numerous links to the forums on The Free Dictionary's homepage. Every item in our daily feed (For example, Article of the Day, Word of the Day, Quote of the Day, etc.) has a "Discuss..." link, which links to the forum thread on the topic. In addition, on the upper-right corner of the homepage is a row of icons, one of which links to the forum homepage; it is to the right of the T E X T and looks like two people, one wearing a red shirt and the other wearing a green shirt.

OK, but there is no link bearing the word 'forum', and you have to click the links you mentioned to understand that they lead to a forum. To place the word 'forum' explicitly would certainly attract many more users. Though a regular user of Free dictionary for many years I had no idea that such forums did exist until rather recently...

on Face Page upper right hand corner above your avatar is icon of two figures. Click on that and there you go. I can not print in color or change font. Goes right back to where I started. The preview bar does nothing. How to do and step by step please, as if you are talking to a five year old. Yeap...its that bad. BTW the people icon is only on the face page.
Did you know if you are reading an article and want to return, click on the Free Dictionary logo in the upper left corner and home you will be.
