The Steam DonkeyThe steam donkey is the strangely named auxiliary steam engine used for hoisting or pumping, especially on a ship. The name "steam donkey" comes from its origin in sailing ships, where the "donkey" engine was typically used to load and unload cargo and raise the larger sails. Patented in 1882, the steam donkey became a key tool for the logging industry as well, but its popularity waned with the advent of diesel-powered equipment. At what amusement park can you find a steam donkey on display? More...

Saw one of these on a porn site years ago. It wasn't pretty.
Seem to recall the starlet's name was Pasiphaë...or, was it Yekaterina Alexeevna? It was a while ago.

A wide-face steam donkey (called that because the width of the drum is greater in proportion to that in later machines) has been operational at the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum in Tillamook, Oregon since the early 1980s. Manufactured by the Puget Sound Iron & Steel Works in the early 1900s, this donkey was abandoned in the woods when the Reiger family finished logging their land in about 1952. The steam donkey was rescued and restored from 1979 to 1981. It was donated to the Pioneer Museum by the Ned Rieger family and has been on display on the Museum grounds.

I had always thought "The Steam Donkey" was another name for "The Tea Party." Oh well, live and learn...
