Uh oh! I can read it, and I even have "geek" in my name, but I am the last person in the world who'd make a good computer programmer. Speak to the hand

Just my belief, at time when telex was used in communication, people tended to shorten the message by taking away the vowels. The consonant could help in imagining the vowels back to the words to make it meaningful.

durn, there goes my favorite phrase of promulgating esoteric cogitation. Possible to read, impossible to write. Back in the day, I used to receive Morse Code at 60 wpm. Was limited to 60 using an electric typewriter as that was as fast as they cycled. I ramble. Sorry.

I suppose you mean text messaging, SMS. Which mean also Skolt Sami, ISO 639 alpha-3 language code,
a language relative to Finnish and spoken in Lapland. Written Sami looks as gibberish as shortened txt with strange vowels.

Oh, well if You're talking about that witchcraft, then yes. Bomber is the reincarnated witchcraft after having been suspended or banned or something like that. BTW, now that he's listed North Korea (yeah, right) as his location, I'm starting to wonder if New Zealand was ever his real location.

I thought he writes directly from Mariana Trench.
If he writes from PRK, he must be a son-in-law to Kim Jong-Il

Jyrkka Jatka wrote "f u cn rd ths, u cn gt a gd jb n cmptr prgmmng". I can, but I don't think I'm quite up to geek level yet. abcxyz wrote "f u cn rd ths u dfntly txt a lt, :-P" and I can manage all but the ":-P" on that, without ever having texted in my life! I do, however, remember a bit of Morse, and know some of Gregg's shorthand, so maybe that helps. Still, like Grammargeek, I really don't think I'd make much of a computer programmer. I can barely navigate the web, still!

Well you've just taken out most of the vowels.. I'd say most of the normal people could read that.. not that they'd find any joy in it.
