This is someone who had new posts in almost every category of this forum
on a daily/regular basis. What happened? Is proli ok? Does anyone know?
Personally I miss the vague intrigue of those postings.
The last posting of proli's was in medicine regarding some prescribed sleep
meds.
Did anyone else notice the absence or am I a closet stalker?

A few days ago I accidentally ran across the word "prolixity" and that reminded me that we hadn't heard from prolixitysquared for a while.

TFD admin, can you help us out?

Thanks

Prolixity's last visit was on the 27th of last month, I PM'd to inquire conveying our concern over the absence.

Well, it is my nature to worry but still, Proli posted nearly every day
sometimes two or three postings a day. I find it very odd that there
have not been any in so long..
Being in this forum is important to me...I feel like I'm part of something.
Proli was one of the first members whose postings I responded to and her to
mine.
Even though we have never met, I do find myself mildly concerned for her.

Holiday is probably it. I do not underestimate the level of concern and camaraderie evinced by frequent fliers of TFD ever since I took off a couple of weeks for no particular reason and was greeted with a cheering chorus of welcomes upon my return. One gets accustomed to the eclectic mix of voices and notices when a particular note is absent.

Since you mention this, I'm wondering if anyone remembers Susan Starr? She had been posting regularly when I first joined the forum. In her last two posts, I had the impression she wasn't feeling well. I had been worried about her, but didn't know whether to bring it up.

And, say, ain't heered from fred for a spell… no wait, he was here just last Friday. This is getting to be a little creepy-stalker-ish isn't it? Maybe I'd better just go do something useful

I am so incredibly sorry to have worried you all ! I am fine, please know. But I have to say that I felt very touched knowing you are all so caring like a family. I thought of you that way before, but now you've really affirmed that for me.

I have just had a lot going on in my life, and time sort of slipped away from me for certain activities.

Until your posts, I didn't realize my last writing contribution was about sleeping pills. Please know I am fine and that is all just coincidental ! I feel terrible for having fretted everyone up !

I will try to get my act together and keep in touch on here more often. But thank you so much for your concern, and now hopefully I've made it easier for you to relax a bit. Lordisa knows I have missed it and our language-happy connections.

Hi Proli, I haven't posted that much here, but I have read a lot of the intelligent, thought-provoking, and amusing (and musings) posts here on TFD. Yours have always been at the vanguard, which have catalyzed the many members here. As a result, you have unassumingly sort of led the way, as it were. Personally, I, too, am relieved (and content) that you are well; I certainly hope that life has not dealt you any unwarranted unpleasantness?

It is nice to hear from you again, and I am looking forward to hearing more from you :)

Well TB, it might work better if you stop calling your son a young lady. Dancing

Just gimme a minute and I'll come up with a snappy retort.

We REALLY need some new emoticons.

Glad you are fine, Proli. Do not worry about our worries. They are our own responsibility.
