I am reminded of the story of Ian Botham taking a wrong turn while walking a corridor in Musgrove Park Hospital. He was in for treatment to a broken toe and ended up in a children's ward.
Talking to the nurses he was shocked to hear that some of the children had only weeks to live... they were dying from the last stages of leukaemia.
The circumstances led Ian Botham to go on a series of charity walks and raise 12 million for... among other things ... Leukaemia Research.
A classic example of the right man in the wrong place!
