A dear English friend of mine can but, as a French person, I'm still unsure how to pronounce her name properly. Her mother hates when I make it sound like its male counterpart, 'Neil'.

Have no fear, you're not dating her mother.

You're right. Moreover her first name is 'Robert', which is pretty rare for a woman, isn't it?

You're right. By the way, you may meet Roberta, my hairstylist. If so, don't ever talk to her about the lard stored around her belly.

I can still remember one Roberta in wild barn dances...

Edit: ...where we used to dart all the evening.

I'd go for a filet mignon... but with two aspirin tabs!

It's funny you mention oxtail: I ordered 2 pounds of it last week and I expect to get them by mail soon.

Is the mail delivered by rail or oxcart?

I chose Lockheed A-12 Oxcart because it's discreet and because it doesn't fear rain since he mostly always flies above the clouds.

One of the test flies of Cygnus ended in a crash near Area 51.

Before buying an RV, it's a good idea to rent one for a weekend so you have an idea of what you're getting into.

(I had to check out the discreet plane...um...lol!! Someone has a fine sense of humor! :D)

I'll pack my fishing equipment and a tent into my Citroën for a nice trip to Viherinkoski (Viheri rapids) next weekend.

Nice destination... I sent my mother-in-law over there last month, hoping the Finnish people there would adopt her and... keep her forever.

My mother-in-law lives over there. She likes to send us a kalakukko every other month.

Kalakukko, like Chinese Bird's Nest Soup, is a traditional delicacy. (I haven't tried either but would love to!)

I hope you'll be enjoying a Chinese Bird's Nest soup soon! I had one last year and as I couldn't get chopsticks, I used pens instead.

I have actually turned pens on a wood lathe, where you spin a piece of wood very fast in a special machine and carve it into the desired shape.

Neat! How does writing feel when your skin is in contact with such a wooden pen?

It feels like it's akin to an oddly shaped pen.

Oh ok... At least, there's no feeling of pain while writing with such a pen.

Pencils do work in the rain, while pens usually don't.

Don't stay too long in the rain, you can end up onto the dirt.
