Norwegian Crime Novelist Talks His Way into the Record Books

At 11AM on May 22, Norwegian crime writer Hans Olav Lahlum started talking, and he essentially did not stop for the next 30 hours, 1 minute, and 44 seconds. With the help of interviewer Mads Andersen, Lahlum claimed the record for world's longest interview, though this has yet to be certified by Guinness World Records. The marathon interview, whose topics of discussion ranged from American presidents to world literature, was broadcast live on the Internet. The previous record holders, New Zealand's Tim Shadbolt and Tom Conroy, are already considering an attempt to retake the record. More...
