The male of any species (when that species has a few million years to evolve) is commonly known as ancient history (to females)

After a species begins living in large, organized and structured communities aka cities, it doesn't take a genius to figure out which sex of a genus is the root of all problems. It is without a doubt males who never learned to become men, and can't handle testosterone.

Hymenoptera, or any order for that matter, doesn't prevent male half's existence on accident, they don't do it for the hell of it, and they don't do it because of some Queen's ulta-feminist crazy man-hating ways.

It's done when males cannot act intelligent enough, in control enough, or honest enough to not behave pathologically.

It sure as hell ain't no selfish gene.

Pure and simple, it's dumb males

dumb males who refuse to honest about their decision to exhibit criminal levels of selfish behavior, which can only be denied for so long, eventually they get repeatedly caught red handed, at which point they either wisen up, or civilization does what it needs to do in order to survive in the natural world.

how many political debates like gun control have wasted time, energy and money when nothing will ever be effective until it deals with managing the *real problem?

Surely, "Mere" is not used here in the obsolete sense: Pure, unadulterated?!

It is easy to understand a Mere Man being no more than a good provider (to anybody, not just the female) but a Mere Man no more than a bad provider? Is there a superlative for that?
