Apparently the UK is the only country in the world that celebrates Mother's Day on the fourth Sunday in Lent.

'Mothers Day' here is always the 2nd Sunday in May, I have forgotten Lent, thats when you give something up isnt it??? not big on that.

There was a Mothers Day shooting in New Orleans at a march for mothers, definitely not in the spirit of the day.
