The Dream Argument

When people dream, they often are not aware of the fact that the experiences they are having exist only in their minds. It is precisely this phenomenon that has given rise to the dream argument, a philosophical postulation that contends that our senses, on which we rely to distinguish reality from illusion, cannot be fully trusted. I think the Polish film director and screen writer, Krzysztof Kieślowsk, explores our perception of 'reality,' and the 'surrealness' of our existence, through his many dream-like films that seeks to lift the veil from these multifaceted mysteries.

It seems to me that one lucid dream, of which I recall two, destroys the argument, since it never occurs in like manner when we are "awake", and dream feats such as flying are also not possible in an awake status.
