I've been on an enduring Antonio Vivaldi kick.

Summer

Winter Allegro

La Folia

The whole 4 seasons is excellent.

Bach is another I keep returning to.

To Excaelis: Though I like the cello and viola, as much as --if not more than-- the violin, the cello needs another instrument to offset it, much like the trumpet playing of Miles Davis.

I'm sorry. I should have posted the above movie with sub-titles. I hope--which I seriously doubt--that no one thinks I speak French. If anyone is truly interested in this, I'm sure you can find it with the English subtitles since, that is the way I originally watched it.

An old thread -

So many songs - a favourite is impossible.
I see you've found the 'mood music' thread already!

I think that this is one which I sing (quietly so as not to repel everyone around) most often - even after 45 years.

Sorry the picture of the lyrics is so small - the only one I could find. Click on the picture to hear it.

Song of Joy - Miguel Rios. This was 1970 in Osaka.
A new set of words to "Ode to Joy" - music by Beethoven originally.

A good choice - individually brilliant musicians, even better combined.
