Please, is there anyone who can help me?
I would know which one of these two sentences is correct:
- There's a man swimming in the sea.
- There's a man who is swimming in the sea.
Thank you very much. Marakita

It depends on what you are trying to say. If you are just pointing out what is happening:

There's a man swimming in the sea

that is just saying 'there is a man' and describing what he is doing 'swimming in the sea'.

if you are describing a scene and pointing out one man in particular, you say 'there is a man' and then you might describe which man - the man 'who is swimming in the sea'. But frankly this is more easily said with the first example.

so, they are both correct and valid, but the first would probably be more common as I think it covers most examples of what you want to say.

They are both correct and mean the same thing.
