I don't think a crunch sound would cause people to feel disgust or nauseous toward it?

Fred and George Weasely were swooping around her...

They were flying.
Though swoop means "move rapidly downwards through the air" which, I think, don't fit here?

It does when you know it is two people being hurt.
It makes you feel bad to see two people collide so hard it must be painful.

Sickening does not mean causing nausea, but it does cause distress. When you see someone being hurt you recoil and you feel bad in your stomach.

They are flying as birds do. That does mean moving rapidly downward or upward very fast.

But that's not the definition of swoop now, is it?

Swoop means to "fly downwards".

Yes it is.
The pair are moving around her like birds swooping around her.
Like these crows swooping around a hawk, also called mobbing behaviour.

Swoop often means downwards, but not always.
