Are the following sentences okay?

Some people like fair-haired actors, while others like dark-haired ones. Ultimately, it’s a question of personal preference.

As a matter of style, I'd replace "ultimate" with "in the end". Just a question of nuance. And, I'm not a native.

Also, a person might well say blond (male) /blonde (female). Although that is a more specific group than the broader 'fair-faired'.
