inequity (n.)
"unfairness," 1550s, from in- (1) "not, opposite of" + equity. Formed from the same elements as iniquity, but done in English. Related: Inequities.

The noun inequity describes a situation that’s not fair. If you feel, for example, that your brother gets to do whatever he wants while you must follow the rules to the letter, you might rage against inequity.

The prefix in- in inequity means “not” or “opposite of.” Equity, means "justice or fairness." Put it together and you get inequity: something that’s unfair or unjust. The word can be used to describe a wide range of unfair situations, such as an inequity in a school's buying new equipment for the football team while the field hockey team continues to wear uniforms from 1981.

but that the school football team, like at a college or university, brings in more money from its ticket sales than the other team.

Compare to: the word as divided in to two of: "In equity" as in: in the "In equity proceedings. . . " paragraph in that: "defaulting party is entitled to a full hearing on damages. " for the Douglas v. Douglas (Chuck v. Caroline) case at: https://caselaw.findlaw.com/nh-supreme-court/1465056.html#:~:text=A%20decree%20pro%20confesso%2C%20therefore,of%20the%20parties'%20marital%20property. here in NOT the state BUT more like on ":The Plantation" of New Hampshire for us peons in NOT a Republic, but more like a Dulocracy where the public servants dominate over the master in to be our Over Lords in like that '"Animal Farm" book: all pigs are equal, just that some pigs are more equal than others. One judge told me that the Damage Hearing can only be called upon by the one Ad-vantaged rather than dis-ad-vantaged BELIEVE IT OT NOT!
