Muslims perform Pilgrimage in the times of Eid-al-adha. It also helps us to remember the penance and journey of Hazrat Ibrahim. He made the place of Allah and furthermore performed journey of His House. Presently a huge number of Muslims perform journey in the recognition of Hazrat Ibrahim.

I have thought Eid al-Adha is the feast of sacrifice, when Abraham was to sacrifice his son, Isaac. No journey in the story.
Ok, this feast might occur at the end of the period of pilgrimage to Mecca.
And in Koran, Isaac might be called Ishmael.
