Are they synonyms? streamline/optimize
Can you give some examples to show how to use them in a sentence?

They can be in some contexts.
Streamline means to make an object the best shape it can be to move through gas or water, a boat with a smooth hull in water, a fast airplane or a modern fuel efficient car.
“If we streamline the hull of this ship we can achieve a 10% fuel saving”.

Streamline is also used as a synonym of optimise meaning to improve effectiveness and efficiency of something by making its processes simpler and easier, to make it work better.
“We can streamline/optimise the process of posting widgets to customers if we use uniform size boxes”.

In my bitter experience at work ideas to streamline or optimise a company often cause more problems than they solve.
