There is nothing quite so good as burial at sea. It is simple, tidy, and not very incriminating.

If something incriminates you, it suggests that you are responsible for something bad, especially a crime.

Usage:

He claimed that the drugs had been planted to incriminate him. [VERB noun]
They are afraid of incriminating themselves and say no more than is necessary. [VERB pronoun-reflexive]

Synonyms: implicate, involve, accuse
