Confident. Incorrigible. Bully: Little Donny was a lot like candidate Donald Trump

https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/young-donald-trump-military-school/2016/06/22/f0b3b164-317c-11e6-8758-d58e76e11b12_story.html

As a 5-year-old, the boy followed his babysitter on an urban safari, descending into a sewer that was under construction beneath New York City. The light fading, the sitter grew concerned that the boy would panic. But little Donny Trump kept walking into the gathering darkness.

In elementary school, Donny impressed classmates with his athleticism, shenanigans and refusal to acknowledge mistakes, even one so trivial as misidentifying a popular professional wrestler. No matter his pals’ ridicule, one recalled, he doubled down, insisting wrestler Antonino Rocca's name was "Rocky Antonino."

At the military academy where he attended high school, Donny grew taller, more muscular and tougher. Struck with a broomstick during a fight, he tried to push a fellow cadet out a second-floor window, only to be thwarted when two other students intervened.

Even Trump has acknowledged the similarities between himself as an adult and when he was the boy whom friends alternately referred to as "Donny," "The Trumpet" and "Flat Top" (for his hair).

"When I look at myself in the first grade and I look at myself now, I’m basically the same," the 70-year-old presumptive Republican nominee once told a biographer. "The temperament is not that different."

The “horror” is you stating something so ugly, my husband looked exactly as the photo on the left, and he was blonde & blue eyed also.
He was of German & Scandinavian extraction, (Northern Europe) where they have that Nordic look...and referred to as Nordens.
Always in a suit too...he grew up to be a brilliant scientist, husband (44 yrs) & father, who provided for us till he transitioned in 2013 at 84.

He was a foot taller than I...a dark haired Latina, who was his equal in intellect...he loved my eyes, he said they sparkled!

I don’t know where you hail from and I don’t need to know...but if your Avatar is you, then you have more melanin, so your country must be closer to the equator.

Of course, even the most handsome man or beautiful woman who is ugly on the INSIDE, is definitely ugly on the OUTSIDE...no matter how good they look...because beauty comes from within...remember that.

TMe NO ONE is a horror...

Here's the link with the whole story, TME. It was written in 2017 and since then what he has done and how he does it shows even more to the world the article to be true.

It was not just his looks which were angelic as a toddler. It was what he did, and how he was a bully even as a child - and he has never stopped being a bully.

'When a ball bounced into their garden, he threatened to tell his father and the police about those responsible.

Dennis Burnham, who lived next door, was a toddler when his mother briefly put him in a playpen in their garden. She returned a few minutes later to find the current U.S. president, then aged five or six, standing at his fence throwing rocks at the little boy.

His mother warned Dennis to ‘stay away from the Trumps’ as they didn’t want him ‘beaten up’ by the family bully.

Another local child, Steven Nachtigall, now a 66-year-old doctor, said he never forgot Trump, a ‘loudmouth bully’, once jumping off his bike and pummelling another boy.

The disturbing image remained in his brain decades later, he said, because ‘it was so unusual and terrifying at that age’."

It's sad, really, to see people be so ignorantly and easily swayed by the opinions of people in these links whose motivations are so blatantly hateful and bitter. But that's what we get with weak-minded individuals. It's sad.

Fortunately, I believe there are enough strong-minded individuals to more than compensate for the weak ones.

We're seeing that in the numbers of people who support the President, and the weak-minded supporting the bumbling jokes of candidates in the Democrat Party.

Trump tax breaks benefit his daughter and her husband,

Holy crap. Three years ago Kushner's stake in Cadre was worth $5 million. He just sold it for $25-50 million after it benefitted from Opportunity Zone tax breaks that Kushner and Ivanka pushed for.

And this benefitting by the whole Trump family from the presidency by creating self interest laws and getting perks from other countries - Ivanka and China for instance - is fine with these “strong-minded” Trump supporters.

People with ethics are considered to be weak by FD. And that's what is sad about this whole presidency. What else is sad is that people who believe in simple solutions for complex problems - build a wall for instance - support a leader who is gradually implementing his autocracy, and they can’t see it or won't see it.

Make no mistake, America’s enemies are watching how Trump handles a crisis.

And I just watched a video with Trump's voice on audio where he called the media and said that many people go to work while they have the Coronavirus as it is is not so bad! He thinks he is now an expert on medical matters.

Great. How many people now think it is fine to go to work when you have the virus - good way to spread it.

BTW - Scientists are trying to figure out if there are two varieties with one being far worse than the other.

This "newpaper", and I use the term extremely loosely, is owned by Jeff Bezos, a person known to hate and despise the President and those who support him.

From a historical perspective, our country is going through a social upheaval. These occur frequently in the course of any society. At the moment this upheaval is centered on people who hold to our traditions and founding, and those who want to change the U.S. into something else. The ones who want to change it have managed to worm their way into control of most of our media, our entertainment industry, our universities, and much of our administrative government over the last sixty years, so it shouldn't be surprising to see this kind of propaganda in print.

But as for this article, most everything in this article is a lie. One only has to look at the support of the President in his rallies to see the truth in that. No Democrat in the country can draw the kind of crowds Trump can, not do the Democrats have the enthusiasm of such crowds.

Polls this far out are meaningless. Just a few months ago Elizabeth Warren a.k.a. "Fauxcahontas" was leading, but now she has dropped out of the race. The laughable part is that she is blaming "sexism" for her dismal showing. But who is doing the voting? Democrats! "Sexism" — this for the very Democrat voters who abandoned her, the very same Democrats who call everyone else sexists. What a joke the Party has become.

There was a time when those of of us who didn't watch /listen to one particular channel, or group of channels, were simply dismissed as ignorant or deplorable.

Now the "ignorance" is not only deplorable but dngerouys:

Keep going to work,
The Corona Virus will magically disappear next month,
a world-wide pandemic won't affect the USA,
spreading it around is ok ,
Deaths from a virus don't matter,
and only the wealthy will escape.

Who's going to ensure the whole world sees as much drama as the "Spanish Flu"? Why, the American Government, of course.

And we have 3 posters who not only think that's fine, but who'll abuse and denigrate anyone who doesn't agree with them.

Do be sure to keep us up-dated, guys. It'll be interesting to learn how many of your fellow Americans die because you believe a man who tells you that Venus is part of the Moon!

Right. So the Corona Virus was a giant "hoax"? The 3 of you are elderly i.e. amongst the "at risk" demographic...keep us up to date with how the global illness is affecting your lives.

Romany,

You are on the mark re the Coronavirus response in the US - similar to Trump's response re the Climate crisis. Besides people being ill and dying, the virus is also going to cause a world recession if it is not controlled soon. I wonder how much the continuous warming of the earth has to do with all these viruses showing up the last few decades.

AIPAC confirms that two US conference attendees have now tested positive for Coronavirus. There were 18,000 people there, including 2/3rds of Congress. On Tuesday, thousands of conference goers visited Hill offices.

There are 21 confirmed cases on a cruise ship with 3000 passengers quarantined in California. I think the number of Canadians on it is 265.

Trump contradicted an official about the availability of the tests and said anyone who wants a test can get one.

But wait - Trump supporters have the answer - they have stopped drinking Mexican Corona beer!

Mexico may soon be paying for that wall - to keep Americans out!

Canada wants a wall too - two Coronavirus cases in Canada are linked to the US. But the US will pay for any wall. Promise.

Seriously, I expect many countries will be preventing Americans from entering. Can't happen any too soon.

Trump irresponsibly held a rally last night, skipping a meeting re Coronavirus and on a video released today at CDC he muses that he could’ve become a research scientist instead of president.

TRUMP: I like this stuff. I really get it… every one of these doctors said, ‘how do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability.

So welcome to Trump's Upside Down World where he thinks he's an expert on everything. But he's not who he imagines himself to be. He is -

— The “billionaire” who hides his tax returns.

—The “genius” who hides his college grades.

—The “businessman” who bankrupted even casinos.

—The “playboy” who pays for sex.

—The “Christian” who doesn’t go to church or read the bible or love anybody but himself.

—The “patriot” who dodged the draft.

— The “man” who calls Elizabeth Warren mean and declares people like him because he is not mean- all while keeping children in cages and bullying on Twitter and elsewhere anyone who disagrees with him.

This article mentions several indications of Trump's desire for dictatorship and a dynasty but doesn’t even mention his corrupting of the DOJ to place people to do his bidding against the wishes of the Founding Fathers' balances and checks, and the appointing of sympathetic judges throughout the country.

Trump's supporters can't see the signs because - Part of it is that Trump has not been able to do his worst. No elections have been overturned, no dissidents jailed, no journalists arrested. The restraints of the US system have, so far, kept Trump in check.

Of course polls this far out are what would happen if the election were today and are meaningless for November - so need to try to distract with Elizabeth Warren's woes. And so is it meaningless your citing of how many people attend rallies right now.

We all have to wait to November to see if democracy prevails in the US when a Democrat wins.

I thought this article from the BBC was an interesting analysis on how Trump responds to the spread of Covid-19 and where his priorities are.

Quote:
The critique is that the reason Mr Trump is contradicting Vice-President Mike Pence (who has been put in charge of the nationwide response) and the public health professionals reporting to him, is that the president needs the markets to remain buoyant - they are vital to his re-election strategy.

At the same time, the American healthcare system offers no safety net for people affected by the virus. People without a safety net and without money to spare will be confronted with the choice of staying home to contain the virus but not making money, or working to receive pay but potentially spreading the virus. It strikes me as an unfair choice people should not be forced to make.

Quote:
The Financial Times estimates the cost of the coronavirus testing to be borne by individuals could cost thousands. If you're barely subsisting and living "pay cheque to pay cheque", where do you find the money for that?

Or what if you are simply feeling unwell, or you may have been exposed to someone who has contracted the virus? The current advice is that you should self-quarantine for two weeks. Two weeks? That is two weeks without pay. Two weeks where you are sitting at home and you may develop nothing. It might be two weeks that will need to be repeated at a later date.

The covid-19 fatality rate is about 5% in Italy and about 3.3% globally. This is worse than the flu. In the US, I suspect that the snowball has just started its downhill descent and will pick up both mass and speed as snowballs usually do. little donny helped give it some extra velocity. Things will likely get worse. The entire country of Italy is now under quarantine. little donny continues to hold rallies and shake hands. Maybe there will be a silver lining to this cloud. Trump Suspends All Travel From Europe For 30 Days To Combat COVID-19

Though the headline suggests 'all travel' yet on reading the full article there are a number of reservations and exceptions. Citizens of the UK the USA have been exempted.

"During his address, the president said that the prohibitions would apply to trade and cargo from Europe, but a White House official subsequently clarified that the new ban applies only to travelers — not goods and cargo."

Cargo can't be a carrier of the coronavirus.

As per Lawrence Gostin, a global health law professor at Georgetown University, put his assessment more bluntly: "It may have political value but [it] has zero public health value."

The speech of Prez Trump was ghostwritten...but maybe his own? I doubt!

Now that he's declared a national state of emergency, I believe Trump can cancel all elections and declare himself "President for Life" This means the Dems will have to choose someone younger - I nominate Archie son of Harry and Meghan!

But guys - what happens in a country that has little or no health coverage for such huge numbers of people? And what happens to all the people whose companies will go out of business? Or those whose employees are going to stop paying them?

Japan, China, Europe, the UK, France, Spain...we all have health care. Not one person has to pay the crippling amount for something as basic as health care, or medicine, or treatment as Americans. No one who is able to live and breathe can be "too poor" for the basic tools of living.

Two couples - friends of the family - we know in the USA have both got it and have had to take out a second mortgage on their homes! That's utterly insane.

And what about the people who don't own their houses? How can landlords be allowed to insist on rent if tenants are sick & not working? And aren't there millions of people too who aren't "entitled" to sick leave?

I'm overwhelmed by the logistics of how it all plays out under such conditions? It seems ...well yeah, a State of Emergency. But if a state of "emergency" exists how can the victims of the 'emergency' not be helped/recover/get tested/be inoculated (whenever that happens.)Or be prevented from infecting others Unless they can pay out ransoms?

As all the world steps things up, governments are talking to people, citizens are communicating from lockdowns all over the world, people are sharing videos, new regulations are coming in, lockdowns and self-isolation are in effect, how can any government continue to deny people health care?

And dear gods, what kind of safety nets can anyone expect from a person who, in the midst of a global crisis, wants to give Germany friggen' MONEY so he can buy up the world's whole supply of the putative German cure, and give him the monopoly on it? Behavior so OTT, so comic-book-villain despicable that people all over the globe are finding it hard to assimilate!

What is the plan? Will local States & Governments all do different things? Does a state of Emergency mean efforts and procedure have to be co-ordinated across all the states? What will happen when the shops close down? Most of us are up to date on what Europe, Asia & the Pacific is doing. But no real information (apart from the beloved travel restrictions) seems to be shared from the USA? I mean, surely-to-god somebody has to step in now and actually DO something?

Romany, according to Donald Trump, there are two types of people in this world. Predators and victims. His philosophy is that predators will survive and victims don't matter.
