Just reading from the article, it would suggest that the company sales could slow down in the future.

Is this sentence grammatically correct?

Isn't the participle phrase dangling? What's its subject?

I think it should be thus:

Just reading...., I think the company sales... .

that is changing the meaning from what you infer from the article to your own opinion.

Yes, you are right that it is dangling.

Yes – or something like "...one gets the impression that the company sales...".

I think the suggestion by Audiendus is the best way to correct the sentence. Replacing "it" with "one" solves one problem, while the word "impression" ensures that one isn't saying the article SAYS sales are going to slow down. It doesn't make this point at all.

But from reading and thinking about the article the reader is able to extrapolate this possibility by "putting two and two together" from all the information in the article.

This particular reader finds it possible to reach the conclusion he has come to, without misrepresenting what the article actually does say.
