Hello, Janet. Please re-read the rules. Proper nouns and acronyms, in an English context, can be used in this game:

Quote:

RULES:

The words you choose as new words here must be found in English dictionaries. You can use proper nouns. English words can contain hyphens, apostrophes but no space.

The new word you're going to post must contain the first letter of the preceding word immediately followed by the last letter of the preceding word, in that order,

AND

the new word you're going to post must not start/end with either the first or the last letter of the preceding word.

(Oh wow... I'm quite sure I messed up in previous posts. My apologies, I didn't fully understand the rules!! :D)

Example to see (for me) from the beginning:

Quote:
CONTINUITY

The new word that follows must:
- contain 'cy';
- not start or end with 'c' or 'y'.

The rules are pretty simple but I know it may take some time to get them right. Practice makes perfect :)

Ajroudi -> -ai-

So the replier must find a valid word:
- which contains 'ai'
- AND which does not start or end with either 'a' or 'i'.

Ajroudi ->

UGH, I keep making mistakes! Sorry, I will read the rules more carefully! Think I apologize for messing up so many games!

Here is my next attempt:

Gaelic (I hope that's right!)

Don't worry. It may take time to fully get the rules but practice makes perfect :) But it seems you're on the right track! ^^

abrasive -> -ae- -> Gaelic:

- contains -ae-
- does not start or end with 'a' or 'e'.

Therefore: CORRECT! ^^

Gaelic -> eggcup
