(verb) Remove by erasing or crossing out or as if by drawing a line.

Synonyms: excise, scratch, strike

After "notwithstanding," expunge the remainder.
After "against," expunge the remainder, and insert "accidental injury from Machinery used in Mills, and for other purposes."
