Synonyms: refund, repay, remunerate

Usage: As long as my siblings are willing to reimburse me for my expenses, I am happy to go into town on my day off and buy all of the snacks and decorations for the family reunion.

The applicant sent to the office responsible for settling claims at Ispra an application for reimbursement of the medical expenses incurred as a result of that surgical operation.
