It is not warranted by the statutory language, and the effect of the gloss is to impose on the employer an antecedent duty which, once it has been performed, may establish that there are no steps which can reasonably be taken to ameliorate the disabled person's disadvantage. The sheriff indicated that bare assessment of one of the psychiatrist that the Appellant would find travel to Poland unbearable, without even adding that there was no medication or other treatment which might ameliorate that position, was quite inadequate. It is very likely that psychological help for the mother and her daughters could help to ameliorate many of the stressors and difficulties she is facing.
