It all depends on the nature of the questions and the criticism. Not all questions are harmful, nor is all criticism destructive. Actually, questions and criticism can be useful and constructive.

Some friends should be like animals, others shouldn't.
Many animals have the best behavior in their own context, but generally, they live under wild rules.
Being a good friend is a balance between being as good as dogs and bad as doves...
